Summary
While looking around the Old Street Market， Tintin stumbles across a model ship and buys it as a gift for his friend， Captain Haddock。 Little does he realize， the ship will prove to be the key to an exciting （and very dangerous） adventure。
The captain is overjoyed but astonished to receive Tintin’s gift。 The ship appears to be a model of a vessel depicted in the background of a painting of the captain’s illustrious ancestor， Sir Francis Haddock。 While looking through an old chest found in his attic， Captain Haddock chances upon the diary of his ancestor。 It tells the story of Sir Francis’s run-in with a fearsome pirate， Red Rackham， and also describes a priceless treasure。
Strange events begin to unfold。 Tintin’s flat is ransacked and a mysterious collector seems determined to buy the model ship。 For Tintin and Captain Haddock — as well as a gang of crooks — the treasure hunt is well and truly on！

في الأغلب قراءتها من قبل ولكن لا أتذكر متي وهل كانت ورقية ام بي دي افاعتقد انها القصة الاشهر لتانتان في العقد الاخير والسبب هو تحويلها لفيلم انيميشن بنفس الاسم عام ٢٠١١ بتصميمات مبهرة وميزانية ضخمة وبيد صناع افلام كبار كسبيبرج وبيتر جاكسون الفيلم بالمناسبة كان ثلاثة كتب ، هذا الكتاب و جزءها الثاني كنز القرصان الاحمر وتان تان والمخالب الذهبية لأ ادري لما اختار المترجم اسم الخرتيت للكتاب فاليوني كورن هو حصان احادي القرن

An awesome adventure with more humor than the first Tintin book I've read （#9: Crab with the Golden Claws）。 Honestly I'm more biased towards Spielberg's interpretation of this and #9 （aka the Tintin movie） due to me watching it before reading the books， so the plot and the visuals of the action scenes stuck with me more。 The flea market joke was hilarious， as well as Haddock's drunken antics and the Thomsons。 Seeing the baddies' lair was pretty cool， I guess that was my highlight， while the char An awesome adventure with more humor than the first Tintin book I've read （#9: Crab with the Golden Claws）。 Honestly I'm more biased towards Spielberg's interpretation of this and #9 （aka the Tintin movie） due to me watching it before reading the books， so the plot and the visuals of the action scenes stuck with me more。 The flea market joke was hilarious， as well as Haddock's drunken antics and the Thomsons。 Seeing the baddies' lair was pretty cool， I guess that was my highlight， while the character of Sir Francis Haddock comes second， because of how interesting he was （though he was only there for a short time）。 Tintin looked more like a little boy here， perhaps due to the illustrations making him look smaller， but he's as resourceful and skilled as ever。 The glimpses of Haddock's sailing-themed apartment were also nice （that chandelier XD）， and there was an illustration of him standing that was pretty realistic so I looked at it for awhile cause it was so good （although the background's proportion looked off）。The weird thing is the breaking the fourth wall panel at the end， and that and the penultimate panel didn't have the full clear （clean？） line style。 Anyways， it was a really fun read where I and my brother had a lot of laughs！ 。。。more

The kids have been enjoying this， and I enjoyed reading it aloud to the younger ones。 They really liked the movie version -- especially the youngers。 The book is in comic book form。 There are action， adventure， mystery， humor， fighting with swords （Abraham）， and sailing ships （Justice） in this version， too。 I think it's just OK， personally， but I'm glad it's something that all can enjoy to some degree。 The kids have been enjoying this， and I enjoyed reading it aloud to the younger ones。 They really liked the movie version -- especially the youngers。 The book is in comic book form。 There are action， adventure， mystery， humor， fighting with swords （Abraham）， and sailing ships （Justice） in this version， too。 I think it's just OK， personally， but I'm glad it's something that all can enjoy to some degree。 。。。more

یادداشت شخصی:توی هشت نه سالگی تنها چیزی که من میخوندم تن‌تن بود، نمیدونم چرا تا الان فرانسوی هیچکدوم رو نخونده بودم ولی بنظرم میتونم یه بازگشت طلایی به تن‌تن خوندن داشته باشم。 بامزگیش و جذاب بودن تعلیق‌ها و گره‌ها همونقدر برام جالب بود که توی هشت‌سالگی بود؛ همونقدر که با دوستم منتظر میموندیم زنگ تفریح بشه بشینیم روی پله‌ها بقیه‌ی کتاب رو بخونیم。

You have to read TinTin in the context of when they were written。 So much does not fly based on our current understanding around racism， sexism， etc。 Otherwise， it is easy to see why TinTin was so popular。 Definitely not for everyone。

A friend gave my kid a bunch of Tintin books， so we've been reading through them together， problems and all。There's some fun adventure in this one。 I actually didn't realize how old some of these books are！ For its age， mostly it holds up quite well and is interesting throughout， in part because this is thankfully one of the less racist ones （I see from the back of the book that uh， yikes， quite a few have that bad old school "what Europeans think about native peoples" problem going on）。 We stil A friend gave my kid a bunch of Tintin books， so we've been reading through them together， problems and all。There's some fun adventure in this one。 I actually didn't realize how old some of these books are！ For its age， mostly it holds up quite well and is interesting throughout， in part because this is thankfully one of the less racist ones （I see from the back of the book that uh， yikes， quite a few have that bad old school "what Europeans think about native peoples" problem going on）。 We still had a few discussions about old books and old representations。 But I think all that went well， and we had fun overall。 The story continues with a search for treasure。 My kid was patient enough to sit through this whole book， so we'll see where things go from here。 。。。more
